Today, students spray painted shirts for our kick-off assembly this coming Friday. We will be giving the shirts away for the class that wins the assemblage art project. Hopefully the shirts will remind the students to keep on recycling in and out of school.

Finished. Cool!

I will be at the assembly on Friday. Good idea on the shirts, whoever thought of it. At least you had a half descent day to do it outside.
ReplyDeleteGo Dragons!
I saw some of the shirts around the school today. Very cool. Recycling is rockin at Landmark. The assemblage projects are also turning out great. I can't wait to see them around town. It's a great day to be a Dragon!
ReplyDeleteThe shirts turned out to be really neat looking. I just wanted to let you guys know how much I enjoyed going on the field trip with you all. The thing that impressed me the most about seeing the recyling plalnt, was seeing the people in the assembly line going through the trash. I know you guys did some "dumpster diving" of your own. I am sure it wasn't fun but you did it anyway. Impressive. Can you imagine doing that job for eight hours a day, five days a week, and they only get $9 an hour to do it. I admire them for doing it because it helps us all, but it makes me feel so lucky to have an education because I think that would be harder than going to college and it would last a longer time with little chance of moving up. Anyway, you are doing good things.
ReplyDeleteThe assembly will be great. I will be there! Good job on the shirts. I am out getting more followers. Lets see if we can get past 100 before school is out!
